Hydraulic Flushing
System contamination is the leading cause of equipment failure in hydraulic
systems. Whether the contamination is particulate or water, the effect can be a
catastrophic failure of your equipment and expensive downtime to repair it.
Sources of Contamination
Contamination can enter your system in a variety of ways. Equipment wear and
failures generate potentially damaging levels of particles downstream, and
although return filters may protect the reservoir in some instances, the
usually unfiltered case drain line is an easy path for particles to take to
your previously clean reservoir. Of course, New Construction gives the best
opportunity for severe contamination of a system. Welding scale, sandblasting
media, dirt, and rust all spell immediate doom for even the most well designed
system. Even routine system maintenance on valves, filters, and components can
generate damaging levels of particulate contamination.
Better Safe than Sorry
Hydra-Pro will asses your systems cleanliness level using oil samples and inputs
from you, the customer, regarding system performance, maintenace, and operating
habits. We will flush your system to nearly any predetermined cleanliness level
and recommend changes to help maintain it. A clean system will keep your
equipment running longer and better for years to come.
